How we work

At the big storage providers there's a reception desk with staff, a sales team behind it and money going into national advertising campaigns. All of that has to be paid for, and it comes out of the rent you transfer every month.

We've organised things differently. We have no employed staff. The owner handles the first meeting personally, and a regular freelancer takes care of the key handover for new tenants. Our locations are unstaffed: you get your own access code and visit your unit whenever it suits you, seven days a week from 06:00 to 23:00.

That saves a large part of the fixed costs. We don't keep that saving ourselves; we pass it on in the price. Our smallest unit costs € 25 per month and the size that holds the contents of a flat costs € 85 per month. All-in, so no admin fees, no compulsory insurance and no key deposit.

Why we simply put our price list online

With many providers you have to leave your details before you find out what anything costs. We think that's inconvenient for you and unnecessary for us. Our full price list is online, from the smallest unit to the largest business space, and the price you see there is the amount you pay.

We even explicitly ask you to compare before you book. Don't just look at the monthly amount but at the all-in price: with the chains, costs you can't see in advance are often added after the first month. Veilig Opslaan offers a lowest price guarantee. What you can expect from us

When you call or WhatsApp us, you don't get a phone menu or a call centre but someone who knows the location personally. Unsure about the size? We'll think it through with you. Send us a few photos of what you want to store and we'll tell you which unit fits. If your estimate turns out to be off, we'll still switch to a different size on the day you move in.

We don't expect you to take our word for it. Come by and see for yourself: the units are indoors, dry and clean, and you can drive right up close to the door. A viewing takes a quarter of an hour and commits you to nothing.
